Beverly Solberg

Beverly Solberg is a graduate of Bethel College (now University) with degrees in Music Education K-12 and Church Music.  She has since completed course work in vocal health, group dynamics, choral conductions and vocal pedagogy.  Bev has over 40 years of experience in church and school positions – most recently serving as high school choral director at Minnehaha Academy from 2004-2010 and in an interim position as conductor of the University of Northwestern-St. Paul Women’s Chorale for the 2011-12 school year.  In addition to serving as Worship Pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Roseville from 1989-2001, her résumé includes freelance work in accompanying musical theater, voice coaching and teaching in worship.  With a vision for music in missions, she has led numerous teams to Ukraine for Shepherd’s Foundation ESL music camps, adventure camps and women’s choir tours plus has been part of several Evangelion Chorale Ukrainian tours.

David Schut

David Schut is a 1985 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College where he received a BA in music having studied piano, voice and choral music. He has performed extensively in musical theater in the Twin Cities, both on stage and in the music “pit.” He can be found performing at the piano at a variety of venues including weddings and private parties. David led music in Covenant churches for 15 years and has a number of compositions for church music as well as solo piano recordings of hymns and Christmas carols. He is fortunate to have had his Christmas song “One Tiny Baby” recorded by Amy Roth. Jeanne Rylander

Jeanne Rylander was trained at the University of Minnesota in voice and piano graduating with a degree in Music theory and composition. Post-graduate studies include choral conducting, Latin American music, Smithsonian Folkways certification as well as certification as a Music practitioner where she uses folk harp and voice to work with Hospice patients. She loves working with young people and has taught choir and been the musical director at numerous high schools in the Twin Cities, most recently at Trinity school at River Ridge. She is currently teaching 6-12th grade General music at Hope Academy in Mpls. Jeanne is married to Don and they have three wonderful kids, including Sophie who is also in TRC.

Jenny Currie

Jenny Currie graduated (twice) from Bethel College (now University) with degrees in Music Education (Choral 5-12) and Psychology. While there she toured with a small vocal ensemble that gave concerts in Japan, Hawaii and California. A highlight of recent years was performing a two-piano concert with Leah Harding that featured works of Poulenc, Milhaud and Rachmaninoff. She has participated in classes, workshops and private instruction in piano performance and pedagogy, vocal training and choral conducting. Her love of music has led her to provide private piano instruction for over 30 years to students of all ages, from beginner to advanced, in her home studio and for the past 18 years to direct the Sanctuary Choir at Roseville Covenant Church. She also does freelance work accompanying vocalists, instrumentalists, worship services and weddings.
